Canada-based Sikh group is organising a peace march between Pakistan and India aimed at creating atmosphere of friendship between the two countries. The preparation for a historical peace march between Pakistan and India is in the final stage, quoting Canada-based Sikh International Peace Committee Chief Gurcharan Singh, VoA reports. Singh said the peace rally would begin from Nankana Sahib near Lahore on March 17 and end at Aanan Pursan near Chandigarh on March 24.

He said the Sikh intending to visit Pakistan from various part of the world including India would get visas easily from the government of Pakistan.

He pointed out that Pakistan had always granted visas to the Sikh pilgrims readily for visiting Nankana Sahib and other Sikh holy places in the country for which, he was thankful.

He said the people belonging to other religions could also participate in the rally.

Giving more details about the rally he said, a large number of buses had been arranged in the two countries while the participants of the rally would also walk by foot at several places.

He said that an eye camp would also be organised at Nankana Sahib before the commencement of the rally.
