As many as 814 Pakistani reached Karachi on Tuesday after they were released from Muscat jails, Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Karachi Director Sultan Salahuddin Babar said. They were detained on the charges of illegal entry and reached here under emergency passport arrangements, he told PTV. To a question, he clarified that they had crossed the border from different points, which were not known as established check-posts. He said these migrants reached Muscat by using illegal means, uncommon and difficult routes.

He said the FIA is interrogating them and action would be taken accordingly. Cases would be registered under relevant laws against the agents and the people found involved in human trafficking, the director added.
