Jordan's government has issued a tender for the purchase of 50,000 tonnes of hard wheat for shipment in March, traders said on Monday. Bidding deadline is Wednesday (February 23). Origin is open. In its previous tender on December 15, Jordan purchased 100,000 tonnes of open-origin hard wheat at $178.20 and $175.70 a tonne c&f. The Black Sea and South America were thought to be the most likely suppliers.
