NWFP Senior Minister and NWFP Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Amir Siraj-ul-Haq has said the MMA government could not be toppled, as it has come into power with popular support of the masses in purely democratic manner, adding the MMA would enforce Shariah and Islamic system in the country. Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) has taught the Ummah the lesson of joint struggle against imperialism to ensure freedom of the Ummah that would be followed by the MMA in letter and in spirit, he said.

He was addressing a mammoth public meeting on with Ashur Day at village Darmalak near Lachi in Kohat. It also addressed by Shabab-e-Milli leader Shabbir Ahmad Khan, MNA, Shad Muhammad Khan, MPA, from PPP (Sherpao), and Kohat Distict Naib Nazim Haji Sardar Khan, besides other elite, who underlined the need for joint and united political struggle for achieving genuine provincial rights to remove sense of deprivation among the masses.

On this occasion, Kohat District Naib Nazim Haji Sardar Khan, Councillor Qalam Khan Lachi, Haji Ishfaq Khan, Haji Eid Gul, and Councillor Mohsin Gul Ali Katch announced joining Jamat-e-Islami along with hundred of their supporters.

They lauded steps of the MMA government for overall development of the province and enforcement of Shariah, reposed full confidence in central and provincial leadership of the MMA, and assured their all out supports in this respect.

Siraj-ul-Haq said that Muslims have been taught to block the way of every tyrant and dictator as per "Uswah-e-Shabbiri", while the MMA would foil the nefarious designs and pride of every imperial force and its agents instead of succumbing to its cruelties.

He said the MMA differed with the Centre on this very fact to realise expectations of the messes instead of safeguarding the interests of colonial forces in light of democratic norms in the country.

He said that peace and development could only be ensured in the country when the prevalent British judicial system was replaced with the just and welfare-oriented laws of Shariah.

Siraj said the MMA government was exploiting resources of the province for overall welfare of the people and its people-friendly steps during last two years was ample proof of our sincerity in this respect that were even appreciated on national and international levels.

He said the Frontier government was focusing on promotion of agriculture in the province wherein construction of small dams for irrigation purposes were being preferred instead of mega dams.

He announced the up-gradation of local girls middle school to high school level, the construction of a small dam at Dermalak as well as assured provision of gas to the local population from Makori and Gorgori areas.

He also assured that needs of local people in every district and Tehsil would be fulfilled in coming fiscal budget and annual development programme of the province.
