The Gomal University has announced the MBA result for the 2002-04 session. The students of Silver Oak Institute of Management Sciences and Information Technology (Simsit), a well reputed educational institute of Islamabad affiliated with the Gomal University, got top positions in the final result.

The first batch of Simsit Gomal University's Islamabad Campus included officers of the following important ministries, divisions and departments attended the MBA course during the two-year session: Ministry of Railways, Ministry of Education, National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (Nepra), Citibank, Muslim Commercial Bank, Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL), Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC), Ministry of Defence and Ministry of Science and Technology.

Sabahat Batool from the Citibank and Ahmad Nadeem secured first and third positions respectively.

Amer Zia, Anwar Malik, Qamar-uz-Zaman and Ahmad Nadeem of the Nepra have passed the MBA examination with distinction and secured first division.

Institute Dean Khalid Siddique said the students and the faculty members put in their best efforts to achieve the outstanding positions.

He said the institute has also announced the best student awards to be given to Sabahat Batool and Anwar Malik who were able to secure over all highest marks amongst the female and male candidates respectively.
