The main Zuljannah and Alam procession in industrial city will be taken out from Markazi Imambargah Dhobi Ghatt amid tight security and more than 20 other processions of Zuljinah, Alam and Tazias from across the industrial city will join the central procession at Chowk Clock Tower. More than 100 Majalis will be held on Ashura.

The central procession will start from Markazi Imambargah Hussainpura Dhobi Ghatt after Azan-e-Ali Akbar (Fajr prayer and conclude at same place at sunset on Sunday after passing through its traditional route; Chowk Narwala, Bhawana Bazar Chowk Clock Tower, Kutchery Bazar, Rail Bazar, Amin Pur Bazar, Kotwali Road and Circular Road.

Athar Hussain Khan Sial, DCO Faisalabad said that the government is committed to maintain peace and harmony during Ashura. Addressing a high level meeting, he sounded a warning to anti-social elements.

Meanwhile, pillion ridding has been prohibited for three days here in connection with Ashura.
