The Karachi Port handled 100,216 tonnes of cargo including 82,554 tonnes import and 17,662 tonnes export inclusive of 3,628 containers, during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Friday. The cargo comprised of 58,216 tonnes dry cargo including 45,071 tonnes general cargo; 3,023 tonnes fertilizer; 10,122 tonnes rice and 42,000 tonnes oil/liquid cargo. Seven ships namely Golden Express, Hanseduo, Hyundai Sprinter, YM Fortune, Jade Trader, Anjum and MT Johar sailed out to sea during the report period.

Six vessels viz TMM Hidalgo, Golden Express, Hanseduo, Budaman, Corinthiakos and San Hope are currently at the berths.

Six ships namely TMM Hidalgo, Anais, Wilmington, Hercules Leader, Sancris and Kota Merdesa expected to sail on Friday, while four vessels viz Le Sheng, Wan Hai-267, Lalazar and Corinthiakos are expected to sail on Saturday.

Four vessels viz Wan Hai-267, Sagamora, Warbah and An Kang Jiang due to arrive on Friday, while three ships namely Warbah, Kota Teraju and MT Swat are due to arrive on Saturday.

Four ships namely Oriental Orchid, MT Shalamar, Eastern Sea and Super Adventure are due to arrive on Sunday, while three vessels viz MMM Kingston, Bunga Delima and Thor Captain are due to arrive on Monday

PORT QASIMA total cargo volume of 74,083 tonnes comprising 59,089 tonnes import and 14,994 tonnes export inclusive of containerised cargo carried in 1,662 containers (TEUs), was handled during last 24 hours ending at 0800 hours on Friday.

The cargo comprised of 7,325 tonnes chemicals; 20,646 tonnes HSD oil; 9,973 tonnes wheat; 7,885 tonnes iron ore and 28,254 tonnes containerised cargo.

Three ships namely Saudi Diriyah, MSC Austria and Chemstar King are expected to sail on Friday.

A total of five vessels viz Anette Kosan, Sabrina Venture, Express, Unix Bright and Golden Ocean are currently at the outer anchorage.

Three ships namely Anette Kosan, Sabrina Venture and Drago Naria due to take berths on Friday.

Container vessel Pacific Senator due to arrive on Friday, while five more ships namely CV Al Yamamah, Ville de Mars, Merker Beach, Clipper Skagen and Great Ambition with containers, LPG and wheat are due to arrive on Saturday.
