National conference on fossil fuels and minerals resources of Sindh expected to be held by the end of February at Sindh University Campus, Jamshoro. Over 200 geologists, research scholars from the universities of Pakistan, representatives of various research organisations and oil and gas companies would attend the conference. About 50 geology scholars from different sectors including universities of Pakistan would present their research-oriented papers on minerals resources of Sindh and Pakistan.

Around 100 students of geology disciplines from Punjab University, Peshawar University, Karachi University, Balochistan University, Federal Urdu University Karachi, Mehran University of Engineering and Technology, Sindh University and other universities would also attend the conference.
