Religious scholars at various Majalis and Mahafil held at different Imambargahs and other places here on Friday said the great sacrifice rendered by Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) and his companions at Karbala convey the message that no body could be allowed to violate fundamental Islamic injunctions and values of humanism. These gatherings were held at Mochi gate, Islampura, Karbla Gamay Shah and various other places. The scholars pointed out the true message and essence of Islam was to make sacrifices for humanity and humanism and not to compromise on principles.

They urged the government to fulfill its legal and constitutional duties by punishing all those involved in crimes on the basis of sects and beliefs.

Discussing at length the role of each and every personality that played a significant role at Karbala, they stated the history was witness to the fact that Imam Hussain' s (RA) message was understood by the people and they mourned the event that deprived the world of a great Imam.

The chain of events at Karbala was highlighted at the Majalis and Mahafil. The historic event was reminded at the Majalis that the forces which had come against Imam Hussain (RA) to the desert of Karbala, was thirsty and the Imam (RA) and his companions gave them water. They threw light on the roles of Hazrat Abbas Alamdar (RA), Hazrat Qasim son of Imam Hassan (RA), Hazrat Auon, Hazrat Muhammad (sons of Hazrat Zainab RA) and many others.

The scholars said the followers of Islam never hurt others on the ground of belief and sectarianism and those were the vested interests of terrorists, who were killing innocent Muslims.

Law enforcing agencies had made elaborate security arrangements at these religious gatherings. Moreover, the main Zuljinnah procession will be taken out from Nisar Haveli on Saturday night.
