The Governor Sindh Dr Ishrat-ul-Ibad has directed for the timely completion of master plans pertaining to Northern By-pass, Hawks bay By-pass and their adjacent areas. He was presiding over a high-level meeting here on Thursday to review the pace of work of ongoing development projects at his office. The meeting was attended, among others, Provincial Information Minister Waseem Akhtar, Additional Chief Secretary Planning and development Ghulam Sarwar Khero, Chairman Lyari Development Project Shafiq-ur-Rehman Paracha and other high-ranking officials.

The governor directed that the recreational and residential facilities should be designed in these projects beside the pollution and industries-free environment.

The meeting was told that the Hawks Bay road was being cleared from encroachments according to the Governor's directives and it was also being widened accordance with plan.

The executive district officer (EDO) Revenue informed the meeting that for the transfer of truck stand and its construction, the area of 500 square feet has been allotted, while the wide-spread area for the construction of timber market, eight spare parts and iron markets has also been allocated.
