A Karachi metropolitan corporation (KMC) Ladies Park on Kashmir Road here has been renovated by the National Foods Limited. A statement on Wednesday said the Chief Executive of the firm Abrar Hasan inaugurated the Ladies Park and described it as a gift to the fitness conscious women of the locality. He said his firm believed not only in providing great tasting quality foods but also emphasised on life with health and fitness.

Guest of honour District Officer of the City District Government Karachi Saifur Rehman Grami appreciated the efforts of companies that spent millions of rupees on matters encouraging healthy lifestyle and sports.

He also enlightened the audience on district governments initiatives to promote healthy recreational activities amongst women by creating even larger jogging tracks and sports complexes, exclusively, for women.

Working women, college girls and housewives all can benefit from this initiative. The National Foods supported the renovation of the jogging track, pole sign, gate and ground, and has also facilitated the park with a ladies' room.

Group Customer Services Manager Sobia Nadeem said their initiative to renovate the KMC Ladies Park was another step towards their objectives of enriching relations.

Ladies, attending the inaugural function, revealed that previously the park was in a deplorable condition and many women had fractures due to rough jogging track.

They appreciated and acknowledged the efforts of the firm for not only improving the track's condition but also for striving to make the place look pleasant functionally.
