Suspected tribesmen on Wednesday blew up two pylons of a main power line in Balochistan, suspending supplies to thousands of households, officials said. Two pylons of the Rakhni-Barkhan line were damaged with explosives, electricity department spokesman Jibrael Khan told AFP. The same power transmission line was also attacked last month at Rakhni, 280 kilometers east of Quetta. A spokesman for the shadowy Balochistan Liberation Army called AFP in Quetta and claimed responsibility for the attack.
