The federal education ministry will spend Rs 6.6 million on projects regarding 'Education for All (EFA)' in five years. During 2004-05, the ministry will spend Rs1,330,000 on projects pertaining to EFA. Official sources told Business Recorder, in five years beginning from 2004-05, the ministry's EFA wing has estimated an expenditure of Rs900,000 for its full and part-time staff.

For conferences and seminars, Rs 800,000 will be spent during the same period. A website will be launched regarding EFA projects and an amount of Rs200,000 will be spent on it.

The ministry has allocated Rs500,000 on research studies regarding collection of data, Rs500,000 for preparation of official papers regarding education and Rs150,000 for maintenance and purchase of vehicles.

Rs1,350,000 has been allocated for media campaigns and Rs1,000,000 for other events.

The ministry will spend Rs1,330,000 during the next three years while Rs1,280,000 has been earmarked for 2008-09.
