Chaudhry Muhammad Saeed, President of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI), has dissolved all subcommittees of FPCCI from December 31, 2004. He said he would soon constitute new standing committees and announce the names of office-bearers of these committees. The FPCCI president said that only competent and experienced members of business community would be appointed as chairmen and members of various committees for the promotion of various sectors of trade and industry.

As per FPCCI communication, the new standing committees will be formed for two years' term of 2005 and 2006. The standing committees will be expected to formulate a strategic plan of operations, and perform accordingly.
