Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has renamed the domestic cricket as National Cricket Pakistan (NCP). According to details, domestic teams have also been renamed as follows: Karachi Blues as Karachi Zebras, Rawalpindi Region as Rawalpindi Rams, Hyderabad Region as Hyderabad Hawks, Lahore Whites as Lahore Eagles, Faisalabad Region as Faisalabad Wolves, Karachi Whites as Karachi Dolphins, Sialkot Region as Sialkot Stallions, Peshawar Region as Peshawar Panthers, Multan Region as Multan Tigers, Lahore Blues as Lahore Lions and Quetta Region as Quetta Bears.

PCB and ABN-Amro have also signed sponsorship agreements till conclusion of the 2006-2007 NCP season. All titles of major tournaments of NCP till 2006-2007 session will incorporate the "ABN-Amro" name.
