Singapore share prices closed little changed on Thursday in lacklustre trade, with investors choosing to stay on the sidelines, dealers said. The Straits Times Index fell 0.53 points to 2,108.16, while the broader All Singapore Equities Index dipped 0.66 points to 548.16. Volume was 719 million shares worth 596 million Singapore dollars (361 million US), down from 889 million shares worth 821 million dollars Wednesday.

Declines led gains 233 to 167, with 573 stocks unchanged.
