The meeting reviewed the activities of the chamber and measures so far taken for the welfare of the business community and upliftment of the trade and commerce activities in the region.
President Najam Rehan told the participants of the meeting that the chamber is committed to increase business activities and organising of 6th Pakistan industrial fair is also a part of chambers efforts.
He termed the exhibition successful and noted that in past industrial fairs helped in increase in exports and improve in business.
He said that keeping in view the demand and interest of stall holders, exhibitors and the general public the exhibition would continue till the mid of February.
He informed the house that a trade delegation from chamber would visit India in April and China in May to participate in exhibitions there.
He urged on RCCI members to actively participate in those exhibitions saying that would give us a chance to introduce our products in outer world.
Member executive committee and former senior vice president RCCI Jawed Akhtar Bhatti who briefed the house about RCCI delegation's visit to India, and termed it successful.
The house unanimously agreed and stressed on government to mobilise the Pakistani High Commissions and embassies to increase trade with the other countries.
