Former President of Azad Kashmir Sardar Abdul Qayyum Khan will be the keynote speaker at a programme being organised to mark the Kashmir 'Solidarity Day' on February 5, at the Capitol Hill, organisers announced here on Tuesday. The programme is open to public and would be held on February 5th at 2 pm at the offices of the Pakistani American Liaison Center (PALC), located at 236-Massachusetts Aye, NE, Washington, DC 20002.
In their presentations at the programme, three young Kashmiri Americans- Osman Ashai, Hyder Syed, and Hafsa Kanjwal will highlight the plight of the Kashmiris in the Indian Occupied Kashmir.
They visited Indian Occupied Kashmir in the summer last year.
The PALO Executive Director, Faiz Rehman will make the opening remarks, the organisers said.
