Secretary General Pakistan Muslim League (PML) Mushahid Hussain Syed has said that the extremists are now targeting free media and pledged to provide maximum protection to them. Speaking to the media men after return from Malaysia on Tuesday senator Mushahid Hussain strongly condemned the recent attack on the office of
Jang group of newspapers in Karachi.
He said that terrorism is a new challenge to maintaining law and order and to the peaceful atmosphere in the country.
He further said that government believes in free press and would provide maximum protection to the media in the country.
Mushahid was of the view that by attacking the important pillar (press) few elements are trying to destabilise the country.
