Bulls strengthened their positions at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where fresh buying spree in trend-setters moved the entire-ready board in upward direction amid increase in index. ISE network index was up by 126.40 points as the rate-based indictor moved from 13,481.29 to 13,607.69 points. The overall turnover amounted to 46,27,500 shares as compared to previous volume of 32,86,500 shares.

Total 132 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (92) closed in positive territory, 38 showed negative signs while 2 companies remained pegged to their overnight levels.

The volume of PTCL was 23,10,500 shares as compared to previous turnover of 11,99,000 shares. The turnover of OGDCL was 15,28,100 shares as compared to previous volume of 11,57,000 shares. The volume of Fauji Fertiliser was 263,000 shares.
