United opposition alliance including MMA and PPP-P through one-point agenda of restoration of democracy was a happy augury for the country. Muhammad Pervaiz Malik, PML-N Central Secretary Finance, expressed these views while addressing an election meeting of PML (N) candidate for NA-127 by-election Naseer Ahmad Bhutta here on Monday. He said that unity of the Opposition would not only ensure success of the PML-N nominee in the by-election, but a win to the opposition in the coming local bodies and general elections in future.

"While agenda of PML-N and PPP-P was identical in terms of democracy, enlightened outlook, liberty, freedom, sovereignty and progress but the PML-N alliance with MMA was comparatively natural. As such these parties were equally representatives and hold firm roots among the people," he added.
