Governors of Punjab and Sindh met on Monday at the Sindh Governor House and discussed matters relating to Expo-2005 and its effect on foreign investors vying to take advantage of the Pakistani market for foreign goods. Punjab governor Lieutenant General Khalid Maqbool (Retd) assured his support to Governor Sindh Dr Ishratul Ibad Khan in making Expo-2005 a success. Ibad briefed Maqbool on the arrangements of the Expo-2005 and said that more than 950 foreign dignitaries were expected to participate in the exhibition.

He said that the exhibition would enhance confidence of investors in Pakistan's economy. "It would tremendously give boost to trade and commerce activities in Karachi."
