Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians' Senator Anwar Baig has said that dialogue process with India must continue to resolve Kashmir issue according to aspirations of Kashmiris. He said right of self-determination is the only solution of Kashmir problem, adding that no other solution will be acceptable to the people of Kashmir. The Senator was speaking at a roundtable national Kashmir conference on "Right of Self-Determination: A Solution of Kashmir Problem", organised by Jammu and Kashmir Human Rights Commission here on Monday.

PML (N) MNA Syed Zafar Ali Shah lauded the unprecedented courage, determination and spirit of sacrifice with which freedom fighters are braving Indian domination and have lost over 80,000 lives during the freedom struggle.

Former foreign minister, Agha Shahi threw light on the Kashmir freedom movement, Pakistan's policy to secure international support, interest of the international community; especially interest shown by the US, inflexible attitude of India and Indian public opinion.

Ex-Chief of ISI, General Hameed Gul (Retd) said that Kashmir is neither a territorial nor a bilateral dispute because Kashmiris are the final arbiters of their destiny and a multi-pronged offensive should be launched for securing national and international support for the genuine, spirited and unprecedented Kashmir freedom struggle.

APHC convenor, Farooq Awan said that the credibility of UN is at crossroads. It should re-establish its distorted image by playing an effective role in resolving the Kashmir dispute. The peace and security of South hinges on the peaceful and honourable solution of the Kashmir issue.

Millat Party's Syed Yousaf Awan said that the Indian response to the freedom movement has been barbaric to forcibly silence the voice of Kashmiris.

Liberation League leader, Abdul Majeed said that the international human rights organisations and even human rights organisations in India have condemned the Indian atrocities, however the United Nations and the super power have not taken any serious notice.
