The Karachi Port handled 111,156 tonnes of cargo including 90,716 tonnes import and 20,440 tonnes export cargo during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Friday. The cargo comprised of 79,118 tonnes dry and 32,038 tonnes liquid cargo. Four ships namely Westermuehlen, Aldona, Apl Orchid and Hyundai Future sailed out to sea during the report period. Six vessels viz Apl Orchid, Iran Sattari, Oranje, YM Star, Thor Captain and Ceynowa are currently at the berths.

Two ships namely Eax Sanctity and Oranje expected to sail on Friday, while three ships namely Iran Trader, Wan Hai-266 and Phayao Navee are expected to sail on Saturday.

Eight vessels viz Warbah, Super Tramp, MT Swat, Wilmington, Wan Hai-266, Induruwa Valley, Lida and Al Keslis due to arrive on Friday.

PORT QASIM
A total cargo volume of 62,264 tonnes comprising 43,768 tonnes import and 18,496 tonnes export inclusive of containerised cargo carried in 2066 containers was handled during last 24 hours ending at 0800 hours on Friday.

The cargo comprised of 7,701 tonnes chemicals; 6,337 tonnes edible oil; 1,703 tonnes seeds; 11,401 tonnes coal and 35,122 tonnes containerised cargo.

Three ships namely P&O Nedlloyd Tiger, JO Calipper and Al Ishaa sailed out to sea during last 24 hours, while two more ships namely MSC Austria and MV Anjum are expected to sail on Friday afternoon.

MSC Aurora is currently at the outer anchorage.

Two ships namely Al Ishaa and MSC Aurora due to take berths on Friday.

Four vessels viz Addiriyah, Anette Kosan, Entalina and Rozina due to arrive on Friday, while another ship CV Camille Rickmers is due to arrive on Saturday.
