Steady trend was seen on the forward cottonseed oilcake market as prices showed modest increase in the current levels, dealers said on Friday. The January vaida opened with 70 paisa fall at Rs 395.10. Later, it picked up Rs 1.90 to be day's best at Rs 397.00. In the process of trading it lost Rs 1.20 to be day's lowest at Rs 395.80 and closing was seen at Rs 396.00.

The March vaida opened with 10 paisa loss at Rs 403.70. Later, it gained Rs 2.30 paisa to be day's highest at Rs 406.00. In the process of trading it lost Rs 2.80 to be day's bottom at Rs 404.20 and market settled at Rs 405.80.
