On the last day of the out going year rising trend was witnessed on the local grain market on Friday, dealers said. On the seed side, cottonseed oilcake with bag inferior type gained Rs 8 to Rs 400 and better type rose by Rs 10 to Rs 410 in process of trading. Til Sindh best quality picked up Rs 25 to Rs 1825 and inferior type did not show any change at Rs 1600. Other items maintained their overnight levels.

On the rice sector, Irri white low type was up Rs 10 to Rs 1110, while the best type stayed put at Rs 1120, dealers said.
