The PAC sub committee on Friday showed displeasure for not producing the record before the committee by the Ministry of Local Government and Rural development. The committee met under the Convenership of MNA, Riaz Fatyana to examine the accounts for the year 1995-96, directed the Secretary Local Government to attend the next meeting with relevant record. The committee also directed the PM Secretariat to improve budgetary system and regularised grant in future.

On presentation of the account of the Ministry of Commerce, the sub-committee constituted a high level Inter Departmental Committee (IDC) to examine the grant/audit para, determine the negligence and report to committee within a month.

The committee observed that the Planning Division is not working up to the mark and directed the NLC to recover the amount from the firm and report to committee at the earliest.

The committee also directed Wafaqi Mohtasib to improve budgetary system in future.

On presentation of accounts of Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth Affairs, Ministry of Monitories Affairs and Ministry of Tourism, the committee constituted an Inter Departmental Committee to examine the case, fix responsibility and report to committee within two months.
