District Nazim, Lahore, Mian Amer Mahmood has asked the Lahore Electric Supply Corporation (Lesco) to provide electricity connections to the residents of Katchi Abadis in the provincial metropolis. Addressing a meeting here on Thursday Mian Amer urged the LDA authorities to ensure provision of electricity connections in LDA housing schemes prior to selling the plots.

Lesco Chief Executive Akram Arain, MD Wasa, DG LDA, DCO Lahore, and other officers concerned attended the meeting.

He also restrained the LDA authorities from approving commercial building plan if area is not specified for installation of transformers.
