All the six candidates of Businessmen Group, led by Siraj Kassam Teli, has been declared elected unopposed as members of the managing committee of the Site Association of Industries (SAI). SAI Returning Officer Suleman Chawla declared that the election body received only six nomination papers against six vacant seats of the managing committee.

After scrutiny all the nomination papers were found in order and the report presented by him was endorsed and adopted by the executive committee in a meeting held here on Friday.

Those elected unopposed for the term of 2005-06 includes Younus M. Bashir, Junaid Muhammad Siddiq, Abdullah Rafi, Saboor Ahmed, Dr Mushtaq Noorwala and Waseem Arshad. There will be no election on January 6, 2005.

The election of the office-bearers is scheduled to be held on Saturday, January 8, 2005, at 3:00 pm while the 40th annual general body meeting will be held on the same day at 3:30 pm. at the Site Association Office.
