The cold wave that engulfed Karachi city since Thursday has forced the Karachiites to take out their woolen wear, reports UPP correspondent. Meanwhile, there was a beeline by the poorer section of the populations towards the second-hand market for clothing, and big rush was witnessed at the various shopping centres selling second-hand clothing.

Woolen pullovers and raincoats were the main pick of the shoppers. The prices for all second-hand clothing have gone up by fifteen to twenty percent in view of the big demand for the same in the city.
