Today I read a letter in the Business Recorder from a resident of D.M.C.H Society about the condition of Alamgir Road, which is quite correct.

Surely it is a good sign that the Defence Housing Authority has made big improvements in development. The DHA does not grant permission to open schools, offices in the residential areas of DHA.

As compared with DHA the posh residential locality of D.M.C.H Society, Alamgir Road, has now turned into a Juma Bazar in front of Alamgir Masjid, as there are lot of illegal encroachments.

The residents are suffering badly from the pollution and dirty environment in the area, especially around the Alamgir Masjid. You will see a hospital, Bar BQ, hotels etc without the approval of the KBCA/Society and we are sure that the management of the society is involved.

The residents of Alamgir Road area are facing trouble, misery and inconvenience, as there is a lot of pollution.

We request the concerned authority to kindly look into this matter and remove the encroachments from this area.
