Addressing a meeting held in connection with finalising procedure of public sector universities' internal evaluation here on Monday, he said the focus is being paid on such disciplines in the universities which could meet the society's emerging demand.
"If we want our university's environment to deliver quality product, we would have to ensure work's ethics in higher education", he added.
The governor also directed the authorities of different universities to ensure transparency in examination system, adding the government would also ensure provision of funds according to the performance indicators.
