Beibit said that gas and oil pipeline between Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan be extended to South Asian states if peace and stability restored in Afghanistan.
Kazakhstan would produce 50 million tons of crude oil this year, he said and added that they want to export it to Pakistan, India, Iran, Bangladesh and other South Asian countries.
Nearly 100 kilometres of main pipeline between Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan is running through Afghanistan. Therefore, its extension is possible without peace and stability in Afghanistan.
Giving his perception on relations between Pakistan and Kazakhstan, he said that both countries have cordial relations as they have same religion and cultural values.
When asked to comment on the Kashmir dispute, the ambassador said that the issue must be solved through dialogue respecting international laws.
During his visit to Pakistan, our President has made a very categorical statement that the Kashmir issue should be solved through dialogue, he further said.
Replying to a query regarding trade between Pakistan and Kazakhstan, the ambassador said that Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarhayev and President General Pervez Musharraf have agreed to launch joint ventures in various fields.
They made a significant progress in enhancing trade volume between the two countries, which is currently at $12 million.
He informed newsmen that elections for the Lower House of Parliament would be held on September 19 in Kazakhstan.
Beibit Issabayev further said that there is a presidential form of government in Kazakhstan, adding more powers would be transferred to the Parliament.
The Kazakhstan President is very keen to transfer his powers to parliament step-by-step, he maintained.
To a question regarding transparency in elections, the ambassador replied that observers from more than 200 countries would come to monitor the election process.
Replying to another query, Beibit said that they had also asked former foreign minister Khurshid Mehmood Kasuri to send their observers but he did not give any positive response.
He said that Kazakhstan has attracted $22 billion investment during last ten years.
"We have opened up our doors for all investors. They have very bright prospects in our country," he asserted.
Later on, Beibit Issabayev also inaugurated two books written by President, Nursultan Nazarhayev and Kazakhstan Minister for Foreign Affairs Kassymzhomart Tokaev.
The Kazakh President has written a book entitled "Critical Decade", depicting whole range of threats to the statehood of Kazakhstan and the new steps that Kazakhstan should take in order to further maintain civil peace.
In his book entitled "Meeting the Challenge", Kassymzhomart Tokaev has written his autobiography.
He has touched upon majority of geopolitical problems he faced during his diplomatic career since the Soviet period till the present time.
