Governor of Hanan Province of China, Li Chengyu who is leading a delegation for Pakistan visit, has shown interest in Sundar Industrial Estate project and termed it a viable project, says a press release issued here on Friday evening.

He was giving his observations after a comprehensive briefing about Sundar Industrial Estate at Punjab Industrial Estates (PIE) Development & Management Company. The Sundar Industrial Estate was being established 25-Km away from Thokar Niaz Baig, Lahore.

The Governor of Hanan province questioned about price of land in Sundar Industrial Estate.

Speaking on this occasion PIE Chairman, Mohsin Syed invited the members of the Chinese team to invest in Sundar Industrial Estate, which was being established over 1500 acres of land.

He stated that as many as 286 plots from one to five acres were being developed in Sundar Industrial Estate during first phase. He hoped that industrial activities will be started during next year and initial infrastructure will be completed in next ten months.

Provincial Minister for industry and investment, Chaudhry Ajmal Cheema, Secretary Industries and representatives from business and trade community were also present on the occasion.
