The Karachi Port handled 99,647 tonnes of cargo including 86,747 tonnes import and 12,900 tonnes export cargo during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Thursday.

The cargo comprised of 58,517 tonnes dry and 41,130 tonnes liquid cargo.

Seven ships namely APL Venezuella, Mare Ibericum, Pu He, Andino Park, Tamyra, MT Johar and Pacific Express sailed out to sea during the report period.

Eight vessels viz Ioannis TH, Pacific Express, Eax Sanctity, Hyundai Sprinter, Victory-1, Tiger Ocean, Keefan and Clipper are currently at the berths.

Four ships namely Hyundai Sprinter, YM Fortune, Tiger Ocean and Clipper expected to sail on Thursday, while two vessels viz Victory-1 and Eax Sanctity are expected to sail on Friday.

Six ships namely MT Shalamar, Sea Ace, Lykes Racer, Corinthiakos, Kota Teguh and United Prosperity due to arrive on Thursday, while three vessels viz Leni, Wan Hai-266 and Maersk Arizona are due to arrive on Friday.

PORT QASIM
A total cargo volume of 40,190 tonnes including 19,756 tonnes import and 20,434 tonnes export cargo was handled during last 24 hours ending at 0800 hours on Thursday.

The cargo comprised of 2,127 tonnes chemicals; 5,705 tonnes edible oil; 10,770 tonnes coal and 21,588 tonnes containerised cargo.

MV Yanaseni sailed out to sea during last 24 hours, while two more ships namely Southern Unicorn and Mare Ibericum are expected to sail on Thursday.

A total of two vessels viz Pripose and Qatar Ibn Al Fujaa are currently at the outer anchorage.

Three ships namely Pripose, NMT Elise and Qatar Ibn Al Fujaa are due to take berths on Thursday.
