Pakistani boxers Meharullah and Asghar Ali Shah face uphill task when they clash Cuban boxers in their respective second round bouts of the Athens Olympics boxing competition on Friday.

Asian gold medallists, Meharullah, will clash Guillermo Ortiz in 57 kg bout while Asghar Ali Shah will take on Mario Cesar in 60 kg.

"Their bouts are real tough and we hope our boxers willprove their mettle, said Syed Haroon Masood, manager of the five-member Pakistan boxing team on Thursday.

Pakistan's two boxers Faisal Karim (64kg) and Sohail Ahmad (57 kg) were beaten in the opening round bouts while Mehar and Asghar are the only two survivors. Ahmad Ali the filth member of the team, got a first round bye and he is set to clash with Kazkhstans Golovkin Gennadiy in 75 kg bout on August 21.
