Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Sardar Sikandar Hayat Khan has assured utilisation of channels for recovery of dead bodies of Raja Azad and Sajid Naeem.

"We will take every possible move for recovery of their dead bodies so that their families can see them for consoling" Prime Minister said while talking to the families of Raja Azad and Sajid Naeem here after expressing commiseration at their residence in Jandathy Banghion and Hurna Mara respectively near Rawalakot.

Speaker Azad Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly Sardar Sayyab Khalid, Federal Health Minister Sardar Yaqub Khan and other officials of AJK govt departments were also accompanying the Prime Minister who also gave the cheques of Rs 100,000 to each family on this occasion.

"The government of Pakistan was utilising diplomatic and non diplomatic channels to ensure the recovery of dead bodies" he told the grief stricken families of Sajid and Azad.

He expressed the hope that on the pursuance of his govt, the government of Pakistan will not leave any stone unturned in the efforts for obtaining and bringing of dead bodies to home.

Prime Minister termed the murders of Sajid Naeem and Raja Azad as an inhuman and un-Islamic act while denouncing their butchering in captivity.

He assured to take up all steps through the government of Pakistan for the recovery of dead bodies if they (Azad and Naheem) are killed.

He also expressed condolence with families on the behalf of Prime Minister Pakistan Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and told the families that Prime Minister of Pakistan was eager to visit them to express condolence but he could not have become able to do so following pressing business in Islamabad after suicide attack on Finance Minister Shaukat Aziz.

AJK Prime Minister said that after the this gruesome act (killing of Azad and Sajid), the sympathies of Kashmiris and Pakistanis for Iraqis have diminished however he expressed little hope in the recovery of dead bodies and urged the families to be patience.

AJK Premier on the occasion appealed to International Human Rights Organisations to provide help to search dead bodies and to bring them to home. He also pledged all co-operation and assistance to the families in future.

Meanwhile protest demonstrations were taken out in various towns and cities across AJK against the killing of Raja Azad and Sajid Naeem by captors in Iraq.

Protest demos were also staged in Jandathy, Paniola, Chinari, Mujahidabad and Rawalakot against the killing of Azad and Sajid Naeem.

Protestors while condemning the brutal murder of hostages threatened to hold protest march towards Islamabad if the dead bodies of Azad and Sajid were not brought to their homes immediately.

Protestors who were carrying placards and banners inscribed with anti-Musharraf and US slogans held President Pervez Musharraf responsible for murder of Raja Azad and Sajid Naeem claiming that he (Musharraf) did not categorically announced that Pakistan will not send its troops to Iraq, in response to the demand of captors.

Earlier the villagers and relatives of Raja Azad in Jandathy village had stopped the PTV team from coverage of bereaved families in the presence of AJK Speaker Sardar Sayyab Khalid by alleging that PTV remained unconcerned in the whole issue and even it was airing dance and songs when private channels were breaking the news of killing of Azad and Sajid.
