Indo-Pak talks on promotion of friendly and cultural exchanges, one of the eight points in the composite dialogue process would begin here on Tuesday.

Pakistan delegation is being headed by Secretary Culture, Jalil Abbas, while Indian side would be led by Union Secretary, Neena Ranjan at the parleys between the two countries.

Earlier, secretary culture and leader of Pakistan delegation Jalil Abbas on Monday expressed the hope that talks on friendly exchanges will be an opportunity to maximise the contacts between the peoples of the two countries.

The delegation was earlier received by Deputy High Commissioner, Munawwar Saeed, Minister Press Kamran Ali Khan and high officials of the Indian external affairs ministry.
