All Parties Hurriyat Conference, accusing the puppet government of carrying out genocide of Kashmiris, said that occupied Kashmir has been virtually turned into a police state.

A Hurriyat Conference statement said that apart from harassment, intimidation, arrests and killing of civilians, the life of Kashmiri detainees languishing in jails has been made awfully miserable. The detainees, who are set free by the courts, are again taken into custody by Indian occupation forces and police and again sent to jails on fake charges.

The spokesman condemned the manipulations to prolong illegal detention of Hurriyat leader Abdul Ahad Waza.

The APHC spokesman appealed to the Red Cross and other international organisations to play their role in securing justice to the common citizens in occupied Kashmir.
