The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has raided Federal Board of Revenue's (FBR) regional office Rawalpindi and took huge record into custody, involving tax evasion to the tune of millions of rupees. Sources said that NAB Rawalpindi raided FBR's regional office in connection with the involvement of some FBR officials in tax evasion. The investigators of NAB took record into custody and started investigations.

However, a senior official said that the Bureau did not conduct any raid at FBR regional office but they went there to get some record which they were provided.
