The elections results of Pakistan Tax Bar Association (PTBA) representing 31 Tax Bars across the country for the term 2017-2019 have been announced by the Election Commission on September 23, 2017 at Lahore. According to details, Abdul Qadir Memon has once again been elected unopposed as President PTBA for the years 2017-19 at the 34th Annual General Meeting of the Association held at Lahore.

He has also previously served as President of PTBA for the term of 2009-2011. He was elected to serve as president of Karachi Tax Bar Association for the years 2003 and 2008, Junior Chamber International Pakistan (1998), Memon Professional Forum (2001) and Director JCI Asia Pacific Senate (2006).

Memon has also served as Member Revenue Advisory Council, Ministry of Finance, Chairman National Clearing Company of Pakistan Limited, Director of Pakistan Stock Exchange ( Formerly KSE) & Pakistan Institute of Corporate Governance and Member of Advisory Committee of Federal Tax Ombudsman & FBR's Task Force on Simplification of Tax Law & Procedures.

Presently he is serving as a Member of FBR's Alternate Dispute Resolution Committee and Chairman/ Member of Taxation Committees of Pakistan Stock Exchange, Federation of Chamber of Commerce & Industry and Karachi Chamber of Commerce & Industry.

He is providing voluntary services as Trustee/ Member of HANDS, Cleft & Contracture Foundation, Sir Adamjee Institute and Memon Health & Education Foundation. In 1997 at JCI Hawaii World Congress, he was declared as the "Outstanding Member of the World" and in 2006 in Seoul Korea as the "Most Inspiring Member of the World". Muhammad Zubair, Karachi has been elected as general secretary for the term 2017-19.-PR
