Leaders of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Mushahidu-llah Khan and Asif Kirmani Monday said former prime minister Nawaz Sharif will appear before accountability court in Islamabad on Tuesday (today). Talking to mediapersons, Khan and Kirmani lambasted Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan saying that Imran is an immature and a non-serious person and, therefore, no one is taking his statements seriously.

Kirmani maintained that PML-N has always held the courts in high esteem, adding that the former prime minister will also address a press conference Tuesday afternoon. He informed that Nawaz Sharif held discussions with party leaders and political allies on the prevailing political situation as well as legal issues and this process would continue in coming days as well.

Answering a question about Imran Khan's demand for fresh elections, he said PTI chief is a non-serious person with least understanding about political affairs. Responding to a query whether Nawaz Sharif would continue to head the party, Kirmani said that the Central Working Committee (CWC) and the general council of the party would decide this issue.

He rejected the rumors of any split within Sharif family saying that, "It can only be a desire of the opponents. "The party was, is and will remain united," he added. Those who kept talking about emergence of various groups in PML-N have received a big surprise as all the notable party leaders including Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan called on ousted party leader and discussed political challenges, Kirmani said.

Earlier, in the morning when Nawaz Sharif arrived at Benazir Bhutto International Airport, he was received by senior party leadership and workers. From airport he drove to Punjab House and held brief discussion with colleagues on the prevailing political situation.

Talking to mediapersons on the occasion, Mushahidullah Khan said that the ousted PM Nawaz Sharif is all set to confront all the conspiracies hatched against him bravely as he did before. He said the party has reservations against the Supreme Court verdict.

He said PML-N party workers are exposing all the conspiracies against their ousted PM while this is job of the media to do so and added public representative's victimization is actually party workers' victimization. Mushahidullah said if the PTI chairman desires to hold next elections 2018 soon then he will have to strive hard to bring changes in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) on account of his slow pace of progress in the province. He said Chaudhry Nisar is a clear person and did not involve in any conspiracy in the present scenario.

Nawaz Sharif was in London for some days where his wife MNA-elect Begum Kulsoom Nawaz underwent surgeries as she is suffering from cancer. Nawaz Sharif was welcomed by Federal Ministers Khurram Dastgir, Saad Rafique, Mushahidullah Khan and Ministers of State Tariq Fazal Chaudhry and Anusha Rehman at Benazir Bhutto International Airport on his arrival.
