As part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR), the Pakistan Water and Power Development Authority (Wapda) is organizing a five-day long T-12 Cricket Tournament for schools from September 18 to 22 at Islamabad in a bid to improve standard of fielding in cricket of Pakistan. The tournament will be played from Monday (today) with prime focus on fielding.

As many as eight schools from Islamabad/Rawalpindi namely Beaconhouse School System, Islamabad College of Arts & Science, Roots Millennium School, West Minister International School, Islamabad Model Collage for Boys (IMCB) Chak Shahzad, IMCB F-8/4, Islamabad Model School for Boys (IMSB), Jhang Syedan, and IMSB I-9/4, are participating in the tournament, final of which to be played on September 22. Chief Executive Officer Islamabad Electric Supply Company Basit Zaman will be the Chief Guest of the inaugural ceremony of the tournament.
