Executive Vice President Upstream, MOL Group, Dr Berislav Gaso has completed his successful tour to Pakistan. During his stay he visited major developments in the field of exploration and production, with the signing of important agreements with the Government of Pakistan. Dr Gaso also met a number of top government officials and discussed with them in detail, the economic and business prospects in the petroleum sector.

A delegation of MOL Group, an Oil & Gas giant that has corporate presence worldwide also called on Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi at the Prime Minister House. Dr Gaso and MOL Group's regional adviser Ali Murtaza Abbas briefed the PM on the company's major investments in Pakistan as well as its present and future ventures and plans. The meeting was followed by the signing of a key Memorandum of Understanding on strategic cooperation between MOL Group and state-run Oil and Gas Development Company (OGDCL).

Prime Minister Abbasi, Dr Berislav Gaso, Ali Murtaza Abbas and other senior officials of MOL Group including the MD/CEO MOL Pakistan, Graham Balchin, and the Hungarian Ambassador Istvan Szabo were present at the occasion. This strategic cooperation would lead to mutual exchange of technical knowledge and industry experiences, allowing for further discussion of potential international upstream growth synergies and possible partnerships.
