On Tuesday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, the total traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 4.043billion and the number of lots traded was 13,165. PMEX Commodity Index closed at 3,028. Major business was contributed by gold amounting to PKR 1.663 billion, followed by currencies through COTS PKR 1.236 billion, WTI crude oil PKR 858.879 million, platinum PKR 176.098 million, silver PKR 80.796 million, natural gas PKR 14.864 million, copper PKR 8.331 million and Brent crude oil PKR 4.798million.
