National Accountability Bureau (NAB), Karachi on Wednesday claimed to have arrested a person allegedly involved in revenue record fraud. It said that the accused is charged for keeping fake entries in revenue record with respect to 77 acres of precious govt land fraudulently under the garb of 8 fake leases for 30 years at Deh Rehri, Bin Qasim Town Malir Karachi.

According to details, suspect Abdul Rehman, who was the then Tapedar Ibrahim Hyderi, was one of the 12 accused persons. These persons were wanted in an under trial reference whose bail was recalled by the principal seat of High Court of Sindh. He kept entries in connivance with private beneficiaries to benefit them in consideration of illegal gratification. He will be produced before accountability court on Thursday (today) for remand. Meanwhile, raids are being conducted for the arrest of other accused persons including senior revenue officials.
