Marcus Stoinis hit an attacking half-century to help Australia beat the Indian Board President's XI by 103 runs in their only 50-over warm-up match on Tuesday. There were four half-centuries for the visitors including Stoinis' 60-ball 76, enabling them to post a mammoth 347-7 after electing to bat first at Chennai's MA Chidambaram Stadium.

Left-arm spinner Ashton Agar then claimed four wickets to bowl out the Gurkeerat Singh-led side for 244 in 48.2 overs. Fast bowler Kane Richardson took two wickets. Stoinis, after his smashing innings that was laced with four fours and five sixes, also chipped in with the wicket of opener Shreevats Goswami for 43.
