Boys from private colleges grabbed most of the top positions in the Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore Intermediate Part I& II (Annual) Examination 2017, while the public colleges of the province failed to grab just a few of the positions. The BISE Lahore on Monday announced the names of position holders of intermediate annual examination 2017.

Over all top three positions were bagged by boys of Punjab Group of Colleges, told by BISE Chairman Chaudhry Muhammad Ismail in a news conference, here on Monday.

Muhammad Umar (Roll No 538805) of Punjab College of Science Ferozepur Road Lahore got over all first position by securing 1060 marks, Minam Farooq (Roll No 521846) of Punjab College of Science Ferozepur Road Lahore got second position by securing 1059 marks while Muhammad Umer Mukhtar (Roll No 519529) of Punjab College of Science Ferozepur Road Lahore stood third by securing 1052 marks.

In Pre-Engineering Group (Boys) Muhammad Umar (Roll No 538805) of Punjab College of Science Ferozepur Road Lahore stood first by securing 1060 marks. Muhammad Tayyab Khan (Roll No 540782) of the same college stood second by securing 1049 marks and Ali Hamza (Roll No 538892) of the same college stood third by securing 1042 marks.

In Pre-Engineering Group (Girls) Farheen Asif (Roll No 528588) of Punjab College for Women Muslim Town stood first by securing 1047 marks. Mahnoor Asad (Roll No 528475) of the same college stood second by securing 1042 marks and Inza Naeem Gillani (Roll No 528779) of the same college stood third by securing 1039 marks.

In Pre-Medical Group (Boys) Minam Farooq (Roll No 521846) of Punjab College of Science Ferozepur Road Lahore got first position by securing 1059 marks.

Second position was bagged by Muhammad Umer Mukhtar (Roll No 519529) of Punjab College of Science Ferozepur Road by securing 1052 marks. Omar Naeem (Roll N0 520863) of Government College University stood third by securing 1045 marks.

In Pre-Medical Group (Girls) first position was bagged by Unsa Mira (Roll No 504491) of Punjab College for Girls Sargodha Road by securing 1049 marks. Afra Zahid (Roll No 509691) of Government Kinnaird For Women by securing 1044 marks while third position was taken by Fatima Shafique (Roll No 507297) of Government College For Town Ship by securing 1042 marks.

In General Science Group (Boys) Muhammad Saad Sarfaraz (Roll No 1022) of Punjab College of Information Technology Muslim Town bagged first position by securing 1022 marks. Muhammad Ali Bhatti (Roll No 556648) of Government College University Lahore got second position by securing 1007 marks while Syed Sajjad Hussain (Roll No 559154) of Punjab College of Information Technology Muslim Town stood third by securing 996 marks.

In General Science Group (Girls) Ayesha Naeem (Roll No 548457) of Unique College for Girls Muslim Town got first position by securing 1022 marks. Second Position was taken by Haleema Mustafa (Roll No 550210) of Punjab College for Women Lal Pul Mughal Pura by securing 1017 marks while third position was shared by students of Punjab College for Women Muslim Town Midhat Kamran (Roll No 548391) and Azka Noor (Roll No 549251) by securing 1007 marks each.

In Commerce Group (Boys) Awais Ahmad (Roll No 575012) of Punjab College of Commerce Muslim Town got first position by securing 1012 marks, Muhammad Awais (Roll No 574456) of the same college stood second by securing 995 marks while Hamza Saleem (Roll No 576324) also from the same college stood third by securing 979 marks.
