District Commissioner Lahore Sumair Ahmed Syed on Thursday visited Qadhafi Stadium to review Pakistan Cricket Board's arrangements for the forthcoming World XI versus Pakistan cricket match. He was accompanied by MD WASA and officers of LWMC, MCL and District administration. From the security point of view, the DC Lahore inspected all the entry & exit points of the stadium, including the areas designated for the foreign players.

On the occasion, he instructed the civil defence officers to deploy volunteers on the day of the match and ensure that the stadium should be swept by the bomb disposal squad. He also instructed the LWMC and WASA to make comprehensive arrangements for the cleanliness of the venue.
