Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has initiated SMS campaign to spread awareness regarding e-filing of income tax returns. According to details, the board is now intimating the taxpayers through Short Messaging Service (SMS) about the last date for e-filing of income tax return (September 30, 2017) for the tax year 2017 and advised them to file returns as soon as possible to avoid facing any difficulty due to excessive burden on system during the last days of September.
